Rc F 22 Raptor – When called in, the plane flies like a fly on a string. If you point the surface area in the right direction, it will fly. It’s awesome. The only complaint I have is that the small parts included are all you get.
Lose one and you’ll spend a lot of time testing it. The spare black clip that connects the push rod assembly to the servo would be nice. Other than the lack of parts, I would buy this plane again.

This is the most fun flying jet in the world! Super flat and flies slowly. High Alpha upside down an inch off the ground all day! When I go to the park to fly, I have to have this plane in the back of my car.
It’s not a great flying day without at least five flights in this plane! Overall, the Freewing 90mm F-22 is a very approachable flyer and perfect for pilots moving up to their first 90mm jet from a smaller 70mm or 80mm jet.

Aileron rolls are excellent. Recovering from an underpowered roll is easy for any skill level. EPP is hard to hurt. Building is easy with added carbon fiber. I used foam tack and super mead glue. Low speed low altitude is impressive.
Definitely a hit at this year’s show. The only downside is the elevator control horn connector. A little difficult to work with. 2 KingTech UAT depending on engine selection, fuel system piping $3,495.00 I was looking for something else when I came across this plane. It was a very quick build, taking about 3.5 hours. I downloaded the included PDF build file which was very helpful.
I use Foam Tac for a complete build, provides a tight bond and won’t gel over time. The power package that Twisted Hobby recommends for this plane is perfect, lots of power. I use an 800 3S battery which gives me about 8 minutes of flight time.
This thing flies on rails no matter what configuration you put it in. Just a nice plane all around. The only change I made was to add some small carbon fiber rods to the control surface to strengthen it, probably not necessary, but it seems to help a little…. The Freewing F-22 is available in two PNP versions.
