As with any competitive first-person shooter, the focus of the game’s performance is mostly on getting as many frames as possible, and that means Riot is focused on making it run well on as many machines as possible.

Spec Ops Guy refers to a tall protester in full riot gear seen at multiple George Floyd protests in early June 2020. Several videos of the protester went viral on both TikTok and Twitter, including a video of the protester throwing tear gas back at police officers,
a video of him towering over a line of police officers and one addressing another protester. The Spec Ops Guy has also accumulated nicknames like Tank and Riot. The videos caused Twitter and TikTokers to create fan videos of him and say they are simping him.
For many years, the chosen irritating agent in riot control was tear gas. This relatively harmless substance does little more than bring tears to the eyes and impart a general feeling of choking and helplessness. Tear gas is now generally known as CN, but its proper chemical name is alpha chloroacetophenone.
While these riot control grenades were easy to manufacture and use, they suffered from the same drawbacks as the earlier grenades: it took time for the vapor cloud to build up, the range was limited by the strength of the thrower (who thereby came well into

missile range of the offending crowd), and the grenades could readily be picked up by an adventurous rioter and thrown back. A redesign of the primary CS grenade has therefore taken place. It cannot be denied that baton rounds can cause severe injuries if used at very close ranges and have also caused many deaths.
They are also wildly inaccurate and often have to be used as area weapons rather than point target weapons. But around this type can prove effective in breaking up hostile crowds, and when used with extreme care, they can even disable ringleaders of a riot or other troublesome individuals.
After you complete the tutorial, you’ll have access to most of Valorant’s game modes. However, the game’s competitive mode is locked until you win 10 unranked matches. Riot, like most game developers, wants to make sure you have a basic understanding of the game before you start competing in ranked mode.

That same day, Twitter user @GhastlyAlan tweeted[3] an epic handshake meme regarding the protester and accumulated over 860 likes and 140 retweets in a day (shown below, right). You’ll also be able to buy weapons and armor during the setup phase.
You can upgrade your sidearm to one of four other handguns, and choose from a dozen primary weapons that make it easier to take out opponents. Primary weapons range from 850 credits for a pump-action shotgun to 4,700 credits for a sniper rifle that will take out any opponent in one shot.
Armor gives you additional health and lowers most incoming damage. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be directed to a page with a red Download button. Click that button and follow the prompts to install the game on your PC.
New Grenade Design
When the installation is finished, you can create a shortcut on your desktop that will take you straight to the launcher. Riot control grenades take two primary forms, chemical and kinetic. Chemical riot control grenades are designed to emit fumes that irritate or disable to the extent that they prevent persons from carrying out a chosen course of action, i.e., they quell rioters.

Multiple fan cam videos of the protester were uploaded to TikTok. The Daily Dot published an article on the protester.[1] On June 2nd, 2020, TikToker @o000000000o0 added another video of the protestor with the caption “Heard u guys like the tall spec ops guy, well here’s him throwing tear gas back at the white house” (shown below).
The video received over 421,800 likes in three days. The protester, who people presume to be a guy and estimate his height at 7-feet-tall, remains disguised by his decked-out riot gear. He has been seen in a variety of videos confronting the police at protests.
Easily Dispersed Riot Control Grenades
In one video, he gets in officers’ faces and points at them (it is unclear what he says to them). In another, he can be seen throwing a presumed gas canister back at them. Each match takes place on one of several maps with different styles and layouts — from cramped monasteries to seaside ruins with long sightlines.
One team starts as the attackers, with the goal of eliminating the enemy team and planting a bomb, known as the “spike.” The other team defends the map, attempting to wipe out the attackers before they can plant, and defusing the bomb if it does get planted.
Teams switch sides after 12 rounds, and the first team to win 13 rounds wins the match — although competitive mode requires teams to win by at least two rounds. The anonymous protester is also being simped hard for over on TikTok, where users are making fancams of him, set to everything from Two Feet’s “Go Fuck Yourself” to LIL DARKIE’s “METHEAD FREESTYLE.”
(Fancams are visual compilations made by stans, and the subject is whoever they are stanning.) Twitter users are saying he “could step on me” and “snap me in half like a KitKat.” Others wrote they fell “in love” after seeing him “bullying the police” and declared him to be a “king” participating in “king activities.”
How To Unlock Valorant Agents
Many rounds turn into frag-fests, with each team trying to wipe out the other, but that’s not a guarantee of victory. Attacking teams are trying to plant the spike, so defeating all the enemies means they win the round.
But defending teams can still lose rounds even after killing their opponents, if they don’t defuse the spike in time. Similarly, attackers can still earn extra credits by planting the spike, even if they lose the round.
Most abilities cost a few hundred credits, depending on how powerfully they affect the battlefield. Simple smokes to disrupt sightlines are cheaper, while abilities that gain information and block off enemies are more expensive. But each agent’s strongest ability — their “ultimate” — has to be earned by killing opponents and capturing orbs.
Each kill and orb provides one point towards an ultimate, but different ultimates have different costs (usually between six and eight points). 60 FPS should give players a pretty good experience with the game. Running the game with these specs should let you hang with just about anyone in terms of aim, and your computer shouldn’t slow down when abilities start going off and rounds start to get chaotic.
What To Know Before You Play
In Valorant’s primary game mode, you play as an agent on a team of five players, facing off against an opposing team of players. There are other game modes, like free-for-all deathmatch, which are great for warming up and practicing with different guns.
Valorant takes inspiration from a variety of games and blends them into a truly unique gameplay experience. If you want to get in on the action, you’ll need a PC. But the game is free to play and has pretty forgiving system requirements, so it’s easy to get started.

Valorant is a tactical shooter, and some people are better at the tactics than the shooting. There’s nothing wrong with that. If you get taken out early in a round, watch the mini-map to see where enemies are and what ultimates are available, and make concise suggestions based on that information.
Even if you’re still alive, knowing where to place smokes, when to rotate across the map and when to pop ultimate abilities can be just as crucial to victory as landing headshots. The other design point is that it is now infrequent for CS grenades to be thrown, for they are generally projected using a small propellant charge from a launcher to a range of 100 m (110 yards) or more launcher, usually being some riot gun.
To add to its effects, CS can be persistent, especially if vapor droplets adhere to clothing. CS is not disabling, however, and there are no long-term physical effects. CS was first used during the late 1950s and was soon a remarkably efficient method of breaking up mobs.
At first, the prime way of delivering the agent was the hand grenade, in precisely the same fashion used previously for tear gas and smoke. People on both platforms similarly sympathized with Anonymous following its “return” over the weekend.
In one of the videos, the anonymous protester can be seen wearing a camera on his helmet and a badge of a Guy Fawkes mask, most commonly associated with Anonymous. Some have even alleged he is with the loose collective of hacktivists, but that remains unclear.
