Since then, it’s been smooth sailing for both foampositers, with lots of colors coming out and no signs of slowing down. While some of the latest graphic styles have found it difficult to move at retail, limited and hyped styles are selling out instantly. In 2001, Foamposite Pro went back for the first time, launching a series of seven colors that would be released over five years. And after a long hiatus, the Foamposite One returned in 2007 in four colorways, including the original “Royal” style used by Hardaway.

From 2009 to 2012, both models continued to gain momentum with exciting releases such as “Eggplant” and “Copper”. However, in February 2012, the hype for the line would change forever with the release of the “Galaxy” Foamposite One. The first Foamposite released with full graphics, the all-star All-Star Weekend sneaker caused widespread hysteria and forced Nike to cancel its online release, as well as several in-store releases.
